Product originates from a country with a MUIS-recognized halal certification body Valid halal certificate from recognized body (THIDA for Taiwan) Product does not contain alcohol, pork derivatives, or non-halal animal by-products Product labels comply with Singapore food labeling requirements Importer has valid SFA license No previous MUIS compliance issues on record

Application Process

Submit application via MUIS Online Portal
Upload all required documents (see checklist above)
Pay endorsement fees (S$288 + per-carton charges)
MUIS reviews application (5-10 working days)
If approved: HEC issued for the specific consignment
Affix MUIS halal endorsement mark on approved products
