SIHALAL Submission Guide
Step-by-step instructions for your Indonesian importer to submit the Foreign Halal Certificate Registration (SHLN/RSHLN) on the BPJPH portal.

Who Submits?
The Indonesian importer or official representative — NOT the foreign manufacturer, NOT TrackHalal.
Per BPJPH Decree 221/2025: "The application for foreign halal certificate registration is conducted by the importer and/or official representative."

Step-by-Step Submission
Log in to SIHALAL
Go to ptsp.halal.go.id
Log in with your importer account credentials.
If you don't have an account, register first with your NIB.
Select SHLN / RSHLN Registration
Navigate to the Foreign Halal Certificate Registration menu.
Select "Registrasi Sertifikat Halal Luar Negeri" (RSHLN).
Enter Applicant Data
Fill in your importer company details. These should auto-populate from your NIB/OSS records.
- Company name
- NIB number
- Import type (API-U or API-P)
- Address
Upload Documents from TrackHalal Dossier
Upload each document from the dossier package we delivered:
- THIDA halal certificate (PDF from dossier)
- Appointment letter from manufacturer → you
- Product list with HS codes (Excel/PDF from dossier)
- Warehouse data (your warehouse name, address, ownership)
- Statement letter (signed declaration)
- Name equivalence letter (if product names differ — included in dossier if applicable)
All files are named clearly in the dossier folder. Upload them in order.
Review & Submit
Double-check all uploaded documents. Verify:
- HS codes match the product list
- Product names match the THIDA certificate
- All required fields are filled
Click Submit.
BPJPH Completeness Check (up to 5 working days)
BPJPH reviews your submission for completeness.
⚠ If BPJPH finds missing documents:
You have exactly 5 working days to provide them. Contact TrackHalal immediately — we will help prepare the missing documents.BPJPH Authenticity Check (up to 5 working days)
BPJPH verifies the THIDA certificate with THIDA directly.
If they request original documents, you have 5 working days to submit them.
Payment
BPJPH issues a payment invoice via SIHALAL.
Fee: Rp 800,000 (~USD $50) per certificate registration.
⏰ You have 10 working days to pay. If you miss this deadline, the application is automatically cancelled.
Registration Number Issued
After payment, BPJPH issues your SHLN registration number.
Download it from SIHALAL.
Print the registration number near the halal label on your product packaging before circulation in Indonesia.
Your product can now legally circulate in Indonesia with the halal label + registration number.
After Registration
Label Requirements
- Display the Indonesian halal logo on the product
- Print the SHLN registration number near the halal logo
- Ensure label text matches the registered product name
Renewal
- Registration is valid for the same period as the THIDA certificate
- Start renewal process 60 days before expiry
- Late renewals require a new application and new registration number
If Something Goes Wrong

| Application cancelled | Contact TrackHalal. We prepare a fresh submission pack. Additional fee may apply. |
| THIDA certificate expiring | Contact THIDA for renewal before resubmitting. |
